News report by Orla and Fearne on Monday 2nd November 2020

Orla and Fearne asked P1: "what have you been learning about?"
In primary 1 we have been continuing to learn our sounds.
Orla and Fearne asked P1: "Do you have anything else to add about your learning?"
We enjoyed lots of fun activities to help us learn our sounds including sensory trays, bubbles and conkers. We also enjoyed getting messy making c c c c crowns fit for a k k k k king (or queen, but qu wasn’t our sound this week).

We even managed to sneak Halloween fun in to learning our numbers.

News report by Casey and Poppy-Leigh on Monday 21st September 2020

Casey and Poppy-Leigh asked Primary one: "What have you been learning?"
Primary 1 have been working very hard to settle in to their new class.

Primary 1 enjoyed painting their very own Eurostar train for the home corner. We’ve been looking at ways we can get to France as part of our country study.

We have also been working hard on learning our initial sounds. We really love working on our letter formation in messy sensory tray activities. The messier the better.
Finally we have also been learning our numbers to 10 through TenTown. We have been learning how we form the numbers. Again we love doing this in messy sensory trays.
